Kathleen Yow-Wells

Description of Services:

Kathleen earned her license to practice massage in Seattle in 1981. She began her career with Naturopathic Physicians in Seattle and Bellevue before founding Eastside Wellness Center on Park Lane in downtown Kirkland in 1987. Kathleen studied many treatment modalities in depth over the last 35 years since being an early student of the Brenneke School.

She combines this knowledge into a healing style that is truly unique and effective in reducing chronic musculoskeletal conditions, pain, and the effects of trauma.

Each session is individually tailored to treatment goals and may include Craniosacral Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Chi Nei Tsang, Trigger Point, and/or Deep Tissue therapy focused on specific structures.

She is certified in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy from the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust in London and has hundreds of hours of advanced training in Craniosacral Therapy including pediatrics.

To enhance the effectiveness of massage and bodywork treatments, Kathleen incorporates essential oils using Aroma Acupoint Therapy. This method is gentle, completely safe, yet profoundly effective as an adjunct to manual therapy. At the beginning of a session, oils are lightly applied to specific points on the body.

Kathleen also offers “Happy Guts” workshops at Cedar Sanctuary in Sammamish.
